Terms & Conditions
By booking a trip with GaySailGreece, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.
1. Trip Provider
The trips offered by GaySailGreece are operated by an external provider. We act solely as an intermediary to facilitate your booking and aim to ensure a seamless experience.
2. Booking and Payment
To secure your reservation, a down payment of 10% of the total trip price is required. This payment must be completed through Revolut within 48 hours of placing your booking. If the down payment is not received within this period, your booking will be automatically canceled. The remaining balance is due one month prior to the trip start date. If the remaining payment is not provided on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund.
3. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU regulations, customers may withdraw from their booking within 14 days of booking, provided the trip has not already commenced. To exercise this right, please send a written request to info@gaysailgreece.com. Your request must include your booking details.
4. Minimum Participation
All trips require a minimum of 4 participants to proceed. If the minimum number is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the trip or offer an alternative trip with customer consent. In either case, we will provide a full refund to all affected participants.
5. Cancellation by Us
If the trip is canceled by us for any reason, we will issue a full refund of all payments made. In such an event, we will notify you promptly to minimize any inconvenience.
6. Non-Refundable Booking
Please be aware that your booking is non-refundable. Once the down payment is received, all bookings are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated under these Terms and Conditions. In the event of a cancellation initiated by you, the down payment will not be returned, and the remaining balance will still be due.
7. No-Show Policy
No refunds will be issued for no-shows. It is the responsibility of the participant to arrive at the designated pickup point on time.
8. Age Limit
Participants must be between 18 to 65 years of age. This age limit is established to ensure all guests can comfortably participate in the activities, as they may require a certain level of physical fitness.
9. Travel Insurance
It is mandatory for all participants to have valid travel insurance for the duration of their trip. We strongly recommend obtaining cancellation insurance to safeguard your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances.
10. Crew Authority
The captain and crew have the authority to modify the trip schedule based on weather conditions or any other factors that may affect safety and enjoyment. They may also refuse embarkation for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Intoxication or disruptive behavior
- Harassment of crew or other passengers
- Non-compliance with safety regulations
- Any actions deemed unsafe or inappropriate
- Failure to adhere to the trip's guidelines and policies
11. Included Services
Your trip includes a range of amenities and services designed to enhance your experience:
- Pickup: Pickup from Athens International Airport or Athens city center on the start date by 12:00 via van.
- Shared Double Cabin: Comfortable accommodation in a shared double cabin with one other guest, ensuring a cozy environment.
- Meals: Enjoy daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner served onboard at designated times, with a carefully crafted set menu prepared by our onboard cook.
- Beverages: Complimentary water, soft drinks, wine, and beer are included, with responsible consumption limits set per person.
- Fruits and Snacks: Fresh fruits and snacks will be available throughout the day to keep you energized.
- Linens and Towels: Bed sheets and towels are provided (please note that beach towels are not included).
- Recreational Gear: Snorkeling equipment and inflatable water toys are available for your enjoyment and exploration.
- Onboard Amenities: Experience comfort with a fan, hot shower, and electricity inverter (note: high-consumption devices like hairdryers are not allowed).
12. Exclusions
Please note that the following are not included in your trip:
- Personal expenses (food or drinks outside of the boat)
- Transportation costs (flights, taxis, etc.)
- Any other services not explicitly mentioned in the "Included Services" section.
13. Drop Off
After disembarkation, a drop-off service to Athens city center or the airport is included on the end date of the trip, ensuring a smooth transition back to your travel arrangements.
14. Drugs and Illegal Activities
Drugs and any illegal activities are strictly prohibited during the trip. Any participant engaging in such behavior will face immediate termination of participation without refund. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
15. Nudity and Clothing Optional Policy
While our trips may have a clothing-optional/nude policy, we expect all participants to conform with local regulations and cultural norms. When in harbors or populated areas, guests are expected to dress appropriately, respecting the local community and fellow travelers.
16. Interactions Among Guests
We promote a friendly and open atmosphere on our trips. We encourage positive interactions, emphasizing mutual respect. All participants should respect others’ boundaries, ensuring that all interactions are consensual.
17. Liability
General Liability: GaySailGreece is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to trips booked through third-party providers. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from cancellations, delays, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Liability for Third-Party Services: The trips booked through GaySailGreece are operated by SAILING CHARTERS FOR ALL M.C.P.Y. We are not liable for the performance or non-performance of services provided by the third-party service provider. Any issues, damages, or disputes arising from the services provided by the external provider should be directed to them.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: If a booking is canceled by us, we will provide a full refund of any payments made. However, all bookings are considered non-refundable after payment has been made unless otherwise stated in our terms and conditions. If the customer fails to show up for the trip, no refunds will be issued.
Travel Insurance and Personal Responsibility: We strongly recommend that all participants obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Participants are responsible for their actions during the trip, and we are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred while participating in activities organized by the external provider.
18. Changes to Terms and Conditions
GaySailGreece reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this page, and we encourage you to review these terms regularly to stay informed of any updates.
